Shipping / Collection Cost
You can collect from our MO Event Furniture Warehouse (DL6 3HP) at no additional cost within hours of passing through checkout. (as long as the products are in stock) If you require your products shipping, cost is entirely product specific. This is always calculated at checkout. Please be mindful that if you are purchasing several different products it may be worth calling our hotline to ensure that you have got the cheapest shipping options. For example it may be possible to bundle several different products together in the same consignment.
Shipping Notifications
You will receive an invoice with your shipping address, if this is different to the address you intend the goods to be delivered to please notify us in writing immediately.
If you specify an alternative delivery address to the payment billing address we will require written confirmation of this by the cardholder. If MO Event Furniture Ltd cannot validate your order, you will receive an email to inform you of this and the next steps. This may cause a delay in your delivery.
Signature upon delivery missed deliveries and denial of receipt
All orders shipped by MO Event Furniture Ltd will require a signature upon delivery. A delivery notes will be presented by the delivery driver to confirm the shipped order
Delivery Timescales
The delivery time scale is specified on the product page to indicate when you will receive your order. If placed before 12 pm, subject to passing necessary checks, your order will be shipped for delivery the next day or at a time suitable to you the customer (excluding Weekends and Bank Holidays), although this is not guaranteed.
MO Event Furniture Ltd is not currently open on weekends or bank and public holidays. Orders received on these days will be despatched the next working day with the delivery timescales as above.
In the event of a delay, MO Event Furniture Ltd will contact you either by email or telephone to inform you of this.
Click & Collect
If you choose to collect from MO Event Furniture Warehouse we will contact you directly to arrange a suitable time for pick up. Alternatively, you can contact us with preferred times you wish to collect and we will make every possible effort to accommodate your request.
Inspection upon delivery
When your order is delivered you should inspect the products with the delivery driver to ensure that it is consistent with your order. You must then sign the delivery note, giving it back to the delivery driver and retaining a copy for your records.
Late deliveries or dispatch
Although MO Event Furniture Ltd can ship almost every order in the specified delivery timescale, in rare circumstances our shipping capacity can be exceeded and cause a delay. MO Event Furniture Ltd regret that this situation can happen in rare situations and, should this occur we will contact you at the earliest possible time and place your order marked for urgent delivery at the earliest available time.
Another circumstance which may cause a delay is during adverse weather conditions. This, again, is a rare situation but is unfortunately beyond our control. In these situations, MO Event Furniture Ltd will do our very best to take responsibility for the situation and ensure that your order is delivered as quickly as possible.
Compensation for late deliveries
If a delivery is late due to circumstances outside the control of MO Event Furniture Ltd (e.g. adverse weather conditions), or if we have contacted you upon placing the order to notify you of a delay, unfortunately, MO Event Furniture will be unable to provide a refund. However, a refund will be provided on any reasonable claims beyond the agreed delivery time. If the delivery was free, MO Event Furniture Ltd does not provide any compensation. Compensation will not be provided to cover consequential losses, e.g. time taken off work to receive deliveries, lost revenues from not receiving the stock, or purchasing the same item from a more expensive retailer.
Issues with Delivery
For small parcel deliveries, MO Event Furniture Ltd uses a third-party courier, these items also cannot be left without signatures. If you miss the delivery person, a card will be left to give you instructions to either arrange a redelivery or collect it from your local sorting office/delivery depot.
If for any reason the item is returned to us (e.g. incorrect address specified, item not called for), then MO Event Furniture Ltd will inform you immediately by email as soon as MO Event Furniture Ltd receive the item. From this point forth, you will be given a choice whether you wish us to re-dispatch the item or for you to cancel the order
If further to despatch it is undelivered again, we reserve the right to charge delivery charges for subsequent deliveries. Please note that for items that were undelivered through the fault of the consumer and a refund is requested, MO Event Furniture Ltd reserves the right to deduct our outwardly shipping fees from the refund total.
In the case of a delivery being signed for and the customer denies receiving the package, this is called a ‘Denial of Receipt’. Under these circumstances, we must contact the courier to confirm the delivery details, who will in turn contact the customer to ask for written documentation to be completed to confirm that the parcel has not been received. These circumstances must be mediated by the delivery service and we cannot take action until it has been confirmed whether or not the parcel was received by the customer.
Lost Deliveries
Unfortunately, as with all delivery services, there are rare circumstances where parcels do not arrive in the agreed timescale or they are lost completely. Under these circumstances, we endeavour to ensure that the item is delivered to you as soon as possible by contacting the delivery service and attempting to locate your parcel and have it delivered. You may also contact the delivery service yourself with the tracking number supplied. In the case of lost items, we cannot refund orders or send out a replacement until the delivery is confirmed to be lost. This must be confirmed by the delivery service themselves, and the periods at which items can be confirmed lost depends on the delivery service used.
Returns Information
Items available from stock may be cancelled, provided the goods have not been dispatched. For sales made to consumers, under the Consumer Rights Directive (‘CRD’), if you are contracting with us as a consumer online or by phone, you have the right to cancel your contract at any time up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive the goods you ordered. To do this you must let us know in writing by emailing us at info@moeventfurniture.com when you return your order. Refunds for orders cancelled under the CRD will be processed per your statutory rights.
You must take good care of the items while they are in your possession and they must be returned to us in their original condition. We may agree to collect your items for you and if we do so, you will be charged the cost of collection which is a minimum of £50+VAT.
All items will be subject to a minimum of 10% restocking fee, but this may be as high as 50% of the value. Any items removed from their packaging will be charged a minimum of 40% restocking fee. Any items showing signs of use or damage, will not be eligible for a refund
We do not offer refunds for items manufactured to customer’s order.

Full details of your rights are available from a Citizen’s Advice Bureau or a Local Authority Trading Standards Office. These Regulations do not apply to made-to-order and made-to-measure items and bespoke furniture.
